Mesotherapy is a French technique combining up to three ways of delivering active ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, vitamins and anti-oxidants, to the deeper layers of skin to nourish healthy young cells. The treatment can be applied to the face, neck, décolletage and hands, and best results are seen with a course of treatments, every two weeks for three months, supporting healthy new skin throughout its growth phase from the deeper layers to the surface. We can combine mesotherapy with a course of treatments including chemical peels and LED for a radiant glow,
Mesotherapy cocktails, such as NCTF 135 HA by Filorga, work to rejuvenate skin appearance by improving skin quality, skin tone and firmness.
How it works
Process
Mesotherpay works primarily to stimulate fibroblast cells in the deeper layers of the skin. It works on the idea that ageing skin needs vitamins, minerals, amino acids, co-enzymes, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants, and when these are provided directly to the tissue surrounding fibroblasts they start to work better. Fibroblasts produce collagen, which is important for a firmer structure of skin, and elastin, which gives skin its bounce and elasticity. The nutrients also support the extracellular matrix which contributes to the appearance of healthy skin.
Does it hurt?
Most mesotherapy injections are targeted to deliver mesotherapy cocktails at a maximum depth of 3-4 mm, so they are less painful than some treatments which inject more deeply.
